Additional Ceremonies

Hand Fasting Ceremony

Hand fasting is a beautiful ceremony performed by couples as an act of commitment and unity. Once a legally binding ceremony, today, it is symbolic, time-honored, and precious. Couples may choose the number of cords for the ceremony and together, we will work to create wording that is meaningful and simply unforgettable. The couple links hands, to form an infinity circle, symbolizing the entirety of the universe as represented in their relationship. The cord(s) will ultimately be tied into an infinity knot to serve as a keepsake honoring and binding each spoken word.

Unity Candle Ceremony

This popular ceremony represents just that…UNITY. There are three candles at the altar. The two candles on either side represent the blessing of this marriage by each family. The third, the unity candle in the center, represents the merging of both families together as one - strong, supportive, and enduring. With carefully crafted wording to capture the essence of both families coming together, we also highlight the new flame that is born as a result of this union.

Rose Ceremony

This ceremony has traditionally been used to honor thy mother. However, it can be used to honor thy father or anyone else for that matter. We all have our own story! We all have those special people that have played a monumental role in shaping who we are today and who we will be moving forward. Is there someone in your life that is deserving of a Rose Ceremony on your special day?

Water Ceremony

Water has been symbolic in many cultures for centuries. This ceremony allows loved ones at your ceremony to express intentions and share blessings over their portion of water that will then be poured into a communal vessel of your choice. The couple may choose to have the water poured over both of their hands as a symbol of acceptance and sanctity or used as water to a plant for their home or yard.

Honorable Mention Ceremony

A wedding is one of the most important days of our lives. Sometimes it is the unfortunate reality that someone dear to us is no longer with us in body, but only in spirit. This is a way to honor them and let them know that they are not forgotten on this very important day.

Vows to Children Ceremony

Just as couples read vows to each other as a promise to be honored with this union, the same can be done with children as a part of the ceremony. When a couple has an existing family, it can be a leap of faith they will all take together ensuring that the children also know they will be continually loved, protected, and treasured in this union.
